food food food

yesterday for lunch i found a great use for overgrown zucchini: mini baked pizzas!
if you take nice large round slices from the center of the zucchini, brush them with olive oil, put them on a cookie sheet and then bake them with (local)cheese, basil and tomato slices, you have yourself a very nice and tasty treat. They're fairly quick to bake in the oven and they taste great chilled as well!

other highlights include a delicious nicoise salad: SF lettuce greens with fresh SF tomatoes, blanched SF green beans, hardboiled SF eggs, hotroasted SF potatoes with dill and a dash of maple syrup / oliveoil dressing. Delicious~!
